Director, Tancey Bosna |

Tancey
Bosna has music in her blood. She admits to starting out on the
“Ted Mack Amateur Hour” as a child and she’s
been singing ever since. Her affiliation with Sweet Adelines began
in the 60's when she and three sisters formed a barbershop harmony
quartet called the “Busy Bees.”
Although the director of Chesapeake
Harmony Chorus for just over three years, under her astute guidance
and immeasurable talent and at their very first competition together,
the chorus won the coveted "Most Improved"
award, bettering their previous score by 93 points! Two years
later they achieved their next goal medaling as Third Place Division
A Chorus in Region 19. This dedicated woman drives two hours one
way from Philadelphia to Millersville for weekly Wednesday night
rehearsals in Baldwin Hall.
Ms. Bosna has performed with several
regional award winning quartets and competed on the International
stage. She has recently launched her newest career with a solo
performance during the Chesapeake Harmony's 5th Annual Tea and
Harmony in September 2008. |
